Community Guidelines

1. Privacy Protection

• Share contact information only after a job is confirmed, and only through our private messaging system.
• Do not post emails, phone numbers, websites, or social media links in public areas like comments or profiles.

2. Behaviour Expectations

We expect respectful behaviour at all times. We do not tolerate:

• Violence or hate speech
• Racist, discriminatory, or threatening language
• Harassment or intimidation
• Illegal activity, including drug use, weapons, or theft
• Trolling or inflammatory comments

3. Unfair Practices

CargoBuddy works when everyone plays fair. The following are prohibited:

• Faking reviews or inflating your profile
• Using the platform for unrelated promotion
• Harvesting or misusing user data
• Moving delivery agreements off the platform
• Canceling jobs to manipulate ratings or avoid fees

4. Pricing and Payments

• Offers must be for the full delivery price - not per kilometre or negotiable.
• Cash payments are not allowed. Payment is securely held in escrow until the job is completed.
• Keep your bank details up to date to receive payments.

5. Accountability & Reputation

• Complete deliveries as agreed.
• If you subcontract a delivery, you must get the Sender's approval and ensure your subcontractor is a verified CargoBuddy user.
• Frequent cancellations or low ratings may result in account suspension or removal.

6. Eligibility

• You must be 18 years or older.
• You must be legally permitted to deliver goods in Australia.
• One account per person only. Duplicate accounts are not allowed.

7. Identity and Profile

• Your profile must include your real name and a clear front-facing photo of your face.
• Fake names or images, including pets or logos, are not permitted.
• Name must match your identification documents.

1. Posting Deliveries

• Jobs must be legal and appropriate.
• No adult services, illegal items, or alcohol-related deliveries.
• Clearly define your expectations, timeframe, and delivery details.

2. Respecting Privacy

• Share private contact info only through private chat, and only after an offer is accepted.
• Do not share personal info in public listings or comments.

3. Unacceptable Behaviour

We expect you to treat Drivers and staff with respect. The following are prohibited:

• Hate speech or threats
• Discriminatory, abusive, or harassing behaviour
• Trolling or disruptive comments
• Any form of illegal activity

4. Fair Use of the Platform

• Don't manipulate ratings or feedback.
• Don't post fake or misleading tasks.
• Don't attempt to take deliveries off-platform.
• Repeated cancellations may lead to account suspension.

5. Payments and Cancellations

• Offers must reflect the full cost. Partial quotes or commission-based tasks are not allowed.
• Payments must be made via credit card or other supported methods - no cash.
• Cancellation fees may apply if you cancel a confirmed delivery.

6. Reputation and Conduct

• Reviews reflect your conduct. Poor behaviour, including cancellations, may impact your profile.
• Account suspensions can result from repeat violations.

7. Account Setup

• You must be 18 years or older.
• You may only have one account.
• Keep your payment details accurate and secure.

8. Identity Requirements

• Your profile must use your real name and show a clear photo of yourself.
• No avatars, cartoons, or misleading names/images are allowed.
